KVB was a 2nd round pick, like other NU pro bowlers, Rucker & M Brown.  I would not call 
a 2nd rounder "not expected to make it in the NFL".  At AZ he was a real leader but after 
a couple injuries and a new coach,  they decided not to resign him. KVB was close to the
top in the league in sacks his 1st year in Tennesee.
