[Husker] UTEP's Doc Sadler hired for Husker Hoops; Maric exits

Well... here's SP's speech:

"I'd like to present the next head basketball coach for the University of 
Nebraska, Doc Sadler." 

then maybe give some background about Sadler, read from his bio. then SP 
can go stand in the corner and let the new basketball coach speak for 
himself, about why he's a good fit for Nebraska, why he chose Nebraska and 
perhaps some of his plans for the future of Nebraska basketball. 

The problem I have with SP doing any of this is that it's comparable to 
record companies saying "the next Bob Dylan" (dating myself, eh????!!!). 
They might have thought it was a good idea, but for many, it was a kiss of 
death. SP has created enough division that has not been repaired, and it's 
doubtful as whether it ever will be . I don't care to hear about Sadler 
from SP. I would like to hear about Sadler from Sadler. The more SP says 
about him, the more he'll be dooming him from the beginning. 

BTW, nice phrase "sunshine pumping"....  and yeah, you're right, I am 
knocking him before the fact. I don't think he can help himself. <G>
