Why do I not find it odd that it is all Mom's fault?  This is why I just 
can't get excited about the NEXT BIG THING, some kid from some high 
school who has great skills but whose character has not been tested in 
the crucible of big time college football.  God forbid he should have 
some "cool" football name like Thunder perhaps?

Callahan said in an interview that these are all young guys - very true 
and young guys don't always turn out the way they thought they would, or 
that their parents/coaches thought they would.  Is this a tragedy - not 
always - time will tell.  Seems to me that if, despite some bumps in the 
road they end up as responsible members of society then it all worked 
out well.

It is after all the abilty to walk the walk that counts in the end.
