Is there any TV coverage planned for the upcoming baseball series vs.
Texas?

Nebraska vs. Texas in Austin ... Saturday's game two of the series is
scheduled for Fox Sports Net television coverage beginning at 2 p.m. central time.
That's Time Warner cable channel 37 in Lincoln, Cox cable channel 47 in
Omaha. I have no satellite/dish info.

This has been great to watch so far. 30 and 5 in major college baseball?
This is the best chance that Nebraska has ever had to challenge for a national
championship, in my opinion. Chamberlain, Watson and Dorn (and Jensen
closing) in any tournament setting is a huge advantage over all but maybe a
handful of teams in the country. I haven't missed too many of the "meaningful"
games this year at Haymarket Park. And a few of us road-tripped to Manhattan
for the series earlier this year -- the series where Nebraska turned around
their season, to this point. The biggest testimonial for Mike Anderson, his
recruiting and the general state of the Nebraska baseball program to date, is
... who'd a' thunk that you lose the offensive contributions of EVERYONE'S
Player of the Year last year -- Alex Gordon -- and you come back the next year
with noticeably a better line-up ... not nearly as many holes as last year.

Buck Beltzer isn't THAT far removed ... I still have to pinch myself from
time-to-time to see if I'm dreaming. Van Horn and Childress are long gone and
Mike Anderson has this juggernaut steam-rolling into Texas. Anything can
happen in the insane, unpredictable and wonderful game of baseball, but I like
our chances as good or better than anybody's.
