Hello Husker Fans,

Sorry to reply to my own post, but I read what I wrote here and
realized I should restate it:

I still don't think UT is as good as last year, however the young
talent is certainly shaping up. They are 18-5 over their last 23 since
starting 9-8, so they are certainly a hot team (NU is 20-3 over the
same stretch and boasts a 12-game winning streak). They did lose
yesterday to UT San Antonio 14-10, but you can never trust midweek
games.

It should be also noted that UT is ranked #5 in Baseball America, one
spot behind #4 NU.

I read what I had wrote and it didn't sound right. I wanted to be
clear that UT will not be an easy series.  If we can take 2 of 3, that
would go a long way in 'claiming' our spot as the top team in the Big
XII.
