Hello Husker Fans,
Thank you very much. I am a big baseball fan, especially with NU and
it doesn't usually get talked about much here until June, so I thought
people should know how the season's going. It's easy to write about
because of my passion for it.
Speaking of which, I meant to mention that Christy hit 2nd in the
lineup yesterday and today. Really an interesting move by Anderson,
since Christy has one of the lower batting averages on the team.
Christy is really clutch though and seems to be able to deliver hits
that put other teams away. I'm guessing that's why Anderson did this.
He's been known to say Christy is the best .260 hitter in college
baseball :)
Also, Friday night's crowd of 8,757 set a school record for attendance
at a home game. Saturday's crowd of 8,415 wasn't too shabby either.
Good to see the Husker fans support their team. The good weather this
weekend couldn't have hurt anything either (until the end of the
baseball game today).

GR> Just wanted to add my kudos for all of the excellent baseball coverage this
GR> season -- with specific kudos to Skylar. On most of the sports pages, you
GR> are lucky to get the season standings and a box score for college baseball,
GR> with maybe a few lines of game coverage. But on the 'Husker List, we get
GR> much more, as evidenced below -- including some context so we can figure out
GR> What It All Means.
