GHB is commonly referred to as a "date rape" drug
because it incapacitates you. If someone has taken
it, they simply aren't capable of making any sort of
intelligent decision. If Solich is a victim here,
this is simply blaming the victim, which is
unacceptable.
Obviously, thinking about this the next day once you
recover enough to realize what has happened, that's a
different situation. But too late for a breathalyzer
test.

If you'd reread the original e-mail, it includes the
accusation that the bartender in this establishment
might have access to GHB (suggesting that the
employees of this bar might, in fact, be responsible):
"Interestingly, the bartender at the
establishment, is a hippy child, who happens to be
the son of an Ohio
University medical professor, that has access to this
drug, GHB."
What's the truth here? Who knows. All we know is
that Solich was behind the wheel incapacitated.
Without any other evidence, this comes across as an
excuse for what happened last month - which is not
acceptable. There is no excuse for getting behind the
wheel drunk.
