IMHO, part of the reason ABC waits until then to release the coverage map 
(they used to release it on Tuesday) is it gives people less time to lobby 
their local stations to carry game 'X' instead of game 'Y'.  

Or maybe that gives people more time to lobby their local stations BEFORE 
the coverage map comes out, making ABC look less stupid than if they 
have to change the coverage map after it's announced?

The football season got a bit crazier tonight.  LSU blew a 21-0 lead 
(that should have been more like 28-0), losing to Tennessee in overtime.
