Back when Musberger was teamed with Dick Vermeil they were covering a NU
game (I forgot the opponent) and the field reporter, Jack Arute,
mentioned how the qb was jerking his head at the snap count to draw the
defense offside. When he finished, Musberger said something like, "Ok,
thanks Jack- speaking of being jerked off..." and he and Vermeil
chuckled. At the time, I thought this was hilarious, but looking back it
may have been in poor taste.
