true,  OU was ahead of UW, but BYU was ahead of both.  But from the 
previous year,  Miami at #4, Auburn, TX, and NU #1,  MIami leapfrogged
Auburn (TX lost) when they beat NU in the Orange Bowl.

Beating#1  means a lot to voters.
