[Husker] Mussberger ticket

Possible rationalizations in the Husker Nation for letting Mussberger off:

Brent and his drink are a loving couple, and he’s committed to his quaff even
though it’s hard to drink in a moving automobile; the policeman was just making
a tough situation worse.

All of the accolades that Tommie Lee brought to UNL should not be jeopardized by
the negative press from an egregious crack down.

He asserted that he was about to pour his drink into the car’s fuel tank,
helping to wean us from foreign oil.  Why didn’t the officer listen?

There’s virtually no way that we’re going to get Brent to suit up as a
play-maker at a skilled offensive position now.

Giving Mussberger a $140 ticket will not help us run our coaches and AD out of
town, or pay for the new athletic complex.

Why pick on the poor guy?  He was just getting an early start to get juiced up
for the next time he has to call a game involving the Husker offense.
