This reminds me of Necessary Roughness when the halftime theme
celebrated gun racks and open containers, which are only legal in Texas.


If Mushmouthburger was downing a few I really don't care and don't blame
him. After that game I was definitely downing them.

I don't  know about the actual law, but certainly this offense was
rarely, if ever, procecuted while I lived in Houston.   we all thought
the law was "you may not be drinking while you are actually driving;
however, having an open bottle/can - that's OK.  drinking while sitting
in traffic, not actually moving (which we did a lot of in Houston) -
that's OK, etc"
