Last week with all the Solich got wronged by Nebraska,
 and "Ohio's Going To Need A Bigger Stadium" stuff
going back and forth on the list, someone suggested
that the big red blob over southern Ohio on the ABC
Coverage Map was put there because of southern Ohio's
interest in the Solich drama.

This week someone thinks that Jay Leno or David
Letterman might use a Nebraska Redneck Cop joke
because Brent Mussburger got a ticket in Lincoln.

Are we so myopic as to think that anyone outside of
(our little group) of people really care about this
stuff?  I travel for my job.  Be assured that what
goes on regarding Nebraska Football, and affiliated
topics are of no interest to the rest of the country. 
Nobody cares............

We need to take a step back and realize that we've
always put too much importance on what goes on with
our football program.  

When we finally do climb back into the the national
mix as a football program, I will be sure to temper my
enthusiasm just a bit so as to maintain a healthy
perspective on where football fits into my life.
