[Husker] Mussburger Ticket

The first thing I thought of when I heard about this was does anyone really believe this was the first time Musberger has done this? I mean, all the times the guy has been in rental cars and at different games, I bet this is not some spur of the moment act- I wonder how many times he's gotten away with it? Perhaps that may explain his getting a ticket- "celebrities" like Musberger are quite used to some cop seeing who they are and letting them go, so when one didn't old Brent got pissy. Who knows. I know a few of my friends over the years have been stopped as passengers on road trips for the same thing, and usually the cop is pretty lenient since they were not the driver. Judging by some of the comments I've heard Musberger spew over the years, it would not surprise me if this was a regular pre (or post) game ritual for him.

Is there a state in which it's legal to be drinking a beer in a moving
vehicle? I don't think so......

His offense may seem petty, but it's the law, and he apparently broke it.
I think just about everyone on the planet understands that if he got a
ticket for it, and no one else did, he was probably being a jerk to the
officer. If Musberger tries to defend himself too much, he'll find someone
like MADD all over him, so he really can't say much, can he?

Get over the paranoia about us looking like hicks every time something
happens that might make national news. Do you really think that we're
rednecks for expecting someone to follow the law?
