[Husker] Ray of Hope? and a couple of other comments

However ugly the win, and whatever problems the team had I thought one
hopeful thing was that they didn't just give up and roll over -
something I saw more of last year.  I sit behind the husker sideline and
I saw more enthusiasm and cheerleading from those guys this game than
maybe any game from last year.

As a "new" tradition the singing of "There is No Place Like Nebraska"
was pretty cool especially since the stadium was practically full at the time.

What were those people thinking who left with a minute and a half to
play?  The whole price of admission was the last 10 seconds of this contest.

When the team left the field the crowd started chanting DEFENCE DEFENCE
- a nice tribute if you ask me.

Anyone know how the Pit kid with the broken leg faired?  One of the
uglier breaks I have seen on the grid iron.  Great round of applause
from all fans for this kid.

Guess if you want Nebraska to win all games by a 40pt margin this will
be a dissappointing year.  Now if we can manage not to lose by a 40pt margin.......
