Mike, you don't really believe it was the STYLE of offense, do you?  The 
playcalling was there, for the most part.  The execution was terrible, 
though.  The receivers and O-line played poorly in all aspects of the 
game...run blocking, pass blocking, receiving, mental mistakes, etc.  I'm 
not certain you can blame that on the West Coast offense.  Imagine how bad 
they would have looked running the Option.  Put 11 in the box and shut down 
the run.  At least the passing game...as bad as it was...did open up some of 
the running game.

By the way...the Freshman FB looks like the real deal.  He should live up to 
the hype.  Let's hope the rest of the recruits do as well.
