Subject: [Husker] Watch site in Chicago

I'll be in the Windy City this weekend. I apologize, because I normally
don't pay attention to the threads on watch sites, as I don't typically
travel out of town during Husker football weekends!

Is there a place in Chicago where I can watch the game? By the way,
we'll be in the downtown area, so something out in the 'burbs would be a
little more difficult for us.

According to the Chicagoans for Nebraska website that I visited last
week, the following locations are available to you:

McGee's : 950 W. Webster, Chicago
(McGee's will be offering free beer to Husker clad fans on Friday nights
from 6:30 - 8:30 pm during the football season.)

Stadium Sports Club : 4015 Algonquin Road, Rolling Meadows,
(847)397-2440 (west on Algonquin Road from the Algonquin Road exit of
the I-90 Northwest Tollway)

Fox and Hound English Pub & Grill : 4320 E. New York St., Aurora, 60504,
630-236-9183, Just north of Fox Valley Mall.

Incidentally, I was in Chicago this weekend for the Indy Car races at
Joliet. We went to the Fox and Hound location out in the western
suburbs. While the staff was extremely prepared (with decorations,
balloons, beads on the table, etc.), our party of five was all that
showed up at this site to watch the Wake Forest game (and only two of us
live in Chicagoland). My friends say the McGee's site downtown usually
has better attendance, but they also admit they haven't been there in a
few years (i.e., since we've hit the skids!). Anyway, good luck!
