[Husker] Question for the List... (fwd)

I would expect that the Huskers will not receive any votes for the top 25 until after the Texas Tech game, and then only if they are 4-0 going in and beat TT. Also, since the first 5 are at home and game #6 is at Baylor, the Huskers could conceivably need to go 7-0, 7-1, or 8-0 with a road win against a decent opponent, before they get a sniff of the top 25.

That said, to my eyes, the D looks much more like it did in 2003 than 2004, but again, the real test will be how they handle the team that hung 70 (ouch...that still hurts) on them last year.

GO BIG RED!!!

It took two games for Frank to get his first "wow" win. BC has yet to do that
after 13. And it won't come with game 14.

I'd concur with the sentiments of most people on this list; the defense looks
much faster, stronger and more dominant than last year. The offense is has been
very discouraging (one drive at the start of one second half does not an offense
make).

I was looking the recent AP and Coaches poll this week to see if we might squeak
by with one vote at the bottom of the pack. We didn't and the reason is pretty
obvious. We need to start looking a lot better against some quality opponents.
Even a blowout of winless Pitt is unlikely to get us a single vote. It's those
games in October that will really tell.

Like the ad says, you gotta show me something.
