[Husker] Question for the List...

One of the things I've noticed so far with the defense is they seem much quicker than last year- of course, maybe the 2 offenses the Huskers have seen so far are much slower, but who really knows for sure. I do know that the red jerseys seemed all over the place (even on offense, which probably isn't so good). I agree with an earlier post about the defense keeping this team in games this year- does anyone really think OU will hang a big score on the Blackshirts? I sure don't see it happening. If someone had asked me in the Spring what I thought the OU game would be like, I'd have said it would be ugly at best. Now I''m not so sure. In this climate of "what have you done for me lately" I am more worried about Iowa State than I am OU. Texas Tech on the other hand...

I think we can agree that our first two opponents wer
enot very good. In the good ol' days, the score would
have been 70-3, but there is more parity in college
football these days. I think the defense can really
get embarrassed down the road against a quality
opponent. I mean, at this time of the season, the
defenses are usually ahead of the offenses. This
defense is very young. I think there is much hope for
next year, but I think maybe this might be another
LONG year, unless the offense starts producing.

But I think maybe Pitt is in worse shape than us! So
we'll start Big12 play 3-0.

Any news about Herian?

Bob
