[Husker] Offensive Line

I not sure about depth and talent (I haven't noticed very much
substitution), but the o-line hasn't been able to take control of the
line of scrimmage against two defensive lines which were small compared
to what they'll see in the following games. I watched both games and
saw many missed blocks on the edges, one particular sweep play featured
the tackle and fullback completely missing their men and resulted in a
loss of several yards on the play. On the play when Taylor got hammered,
nobody even attempted to block the defender. That kind of breakdown in
the blocking scheme may cost us a QB when playing against bigger,
stronger, faster competition.

That said, I believe the o-line just needs time to gel as a unit, they
look tentative right now, they each are required to learn to play other
positions along the line which complicates the learning process. If and
when the o-line improves its execution, the rest of the offense should
look a lot better. The long drive in the 3rd quarter last night was an
example of what this offense will look like when it starts hitting on
all cylinders, the Huskers will need more of that against Pittsbugh.
