[Husker] Alberts

Yeah I couldn't believe that either.  In a futile effort, I donned my crazy-internent-guy persona and wrote ESPN an e-mail questioning the selection.  I can see why they would let Alberts go given his behavior (although I basically liked him), but Holtz is a terrible replacement.  Besides what you mention he just isn't a good performer/analyst. 
 
I thought after I saw Nick (Jessica Simpson's husband) on "Game Day" that they were really stretching for the younger demographic (in a misguided way).  Seeing Lou makes me think that they are simply wandering aimlessly without a marketing plan at all.

So they replace Trev Alberts with Lou Holtz?

The guy who's left every school he coached at in NCAA violations while
claiming to know nothing about what was happening when he's getting paid
damn good money doing motivational speeches about taking control of
everything?

Why do we, as fans, as consumers, put up with this crap?
