Dear Coach Solich,

 

I hope you take a moment to read this.  I didn't think about e-mailing you
the last two years until someone posted your e-mail address last night.

 

Congratulations on the huge victory last night.  Your victories in 1999
against Tennessee (Fiesta), Texas (Big XII CG), Oklahoma 2002, and Colorado
2003 were my previous favorites.  This one joins the group.


A part of me was taken away when the change was made in Lincoln.  I don't
know who the people that are there now are.  Bob, Tom and you were "family".
A connection to something I hoped would be passed down for generations.
Your new staff had a fabulous 11 months and I was very optimistic.

 

Now my heritage has found a new home in Ohio.  If there is anything a fan in
Houston, TX can do to help let me know.
