I am very much a half full person - and I agree things are getting better. The difference between ok, good and great teams are winning these close games, pulling out the tight ones. I wish we would not get so far down so early in these games, has anyone seen or heard (from Cosgrove) why he thinks this happens? Breakdowns, bad play calling, no intensity?
I also agree in the comments about OU. I'm not sure why they have fallen so far, losing to the teams they have, when a Michigan team still hovers arounfd the top 25, or Tennessee or Minnesota or Northwestern or the Louisvilles etc. Do we not think OU would beat a C-USA Or MAC team?

MD> Agree with Mike. Please remember that despite the fact if you are a "half
empty" or a "half full" kind of a person, this team could just as easily be 3-5
instead of 5-3 if it were not for two

play). The last two games have been played as if they were a losing team and
this level of play is significantly sub par

Actually, had we completed a long pass to Swift down the middle of the
field late in the game, we could be 2 plays away from 7-1.
This team is playing as good as I expected them too, maybe even a
little better. They are CLEARLY better than last year's team. The
offense is not great, but it is definately pretty good lately.
I would even go as far as to say this is the first time in the BC era
that I've felt good about the overall direction of the program. I
also feel that this team is getting better as the season goes on, not
worse.
OU is a team that isn't great, but they lost to 3 teams with a
combined record of 24-1. Not to mention those teams are ranked 2, 7,
and 20 for a combined rank of 9.66.
Cut them some slack. Geesh.
