[[Steve, I'd be surprised if very many true freshman offensive linemen
would be seeing significant playing time at any of the division 1-A
schools, let alone Nebraska right now- I will wait another year (or maybe
two) to agree/disagree with you on this. I do not have hard evidence to
back this up, but it seems that even highly recruited offensive linemen
usually redshirt the first year, or see limited time as backups. That said,
the line has so far not played as well as many expected, nor is it nearly
deep enough.

Scott, was that a redshirt freshman or true freshman left tackle that had
an oops on the first play leading to the 10 yard smack on Taylor....and
seemed to knock Zac out for the whole first quarter. I honestly don't
remember, they just said freshman and first start. It's this youth that I
think is hurting us. Taylor obviously has a gun and it'll be interesting
to see what will happen as the protection improves and perhaps we get more
of a game breaker at the WR spot.
