I had mentioned this in a post Sunday, apparently no one really agrees with us on this. Just because OU struggled with Baylor and got blown out by 2 top-10 teams, doesn't mean they were going to come to Lincoln and lay down. The gap between Nebraska and Oklahoma is not as close as many people on this list believe it is, although I believe it is narrowing- in 3 years when OU-NU resumes, I feel the outcomes will be quite different than in the last 2 seasons.
Either no one reads the posts made in August by some fairly intelligent fans about NU likely going 6-5, or people simply don't want to admit it is possible. I particularly enjoyed the posts that predicted anywhere from 8-3 to 5-6, which as we are seeing are pretty accurate.
By the way, Nebraska opened this week as a 1 point favorite at Kansas- any fan who will be crushed if the Huskers lose this weekend better look up the number for the local psychologist before Saturday.
