I consider myself a 'true fan' right or wrong. However, I also find myself
very frustrated this year. I saw what I thought was rather steady
improvement in play/play calling through say the TT game...maybe BU (I
didn't see that game).

The players exhibit fortitude to be sure...they are playing hard at the end
of the game trying to mount comebacks. that didn't happen last year in my
opinion. What about playing hard from the opening kick-off? Why call for
other than a short, quick pass on the opening play from the 20 vs OU when
going into a STRONG headwind? (Result...10 yd. sack)

I say all the time (because I believe that it the way I truly feel) that if
the kids play well (hopefully their best) and get beat, that's O.K. with me.
I haven't seen consistent 'play well' this year. As a result, I am a very
frustrated, 'true fan.'
