Barring a miracle, this year will make 3 out of the last 4 years where the
Huskers didn't have a 9-win season.  Considering that there was a stretch
of over 30 years where 9 wins was the absolute minimum (and often a cause 
for grumbling), I'd say the Huskers will need to put up several 9-win seasons 
back to back before they're anywhere near being 'back up there'.  

Because of parity and other things, there may never be another 30+ year 
streak of 9-win seasons at Nebraska or anywhere else, even with the impending
move to a 12 game regular season.
