Of course Solich only had one season below nine wins! So I'm no sure what
"back up to" means.

Meanwhile, on the one proven Callahan front, the Huskers got another
commitment, from a 3* defensive end/tight end from Nevada. Once again,
though, this is exactly the kind of player that Solich recruited and was
condemned for recruiting. I know I keep rehashing/venting, but it's the
double standard that bothers me.

I'm actually pulling for Callahan more than a lot of the grumblers. But I
predicted this along time ago. My theory being that pro-Solich/anti-Solich
was never the natural division. Rather its pessimists versus optimists, or
even better stated, those without patience versus those with patience. So
that it wouldn't take long for those who wanted to get rid of Solich to want
to get rid of Callahan, if he isn't winning. They forced themselves into a
corner of being Callahan/Pederson supporters because of the Solich
arguments, but a pure pessimist can only be patient for so long.
