The 3-man line allows us to rest at least one defensive lineman while 
we're running it. We don't have huge depth at DT, not high quality depth. 
It also allows quite a number of options when blitzing linebackers. Maybe 
at the end of the season or next year Cosgrove will share some of his 
thoughts on why he's doing what he's doing.

The "old" traditions and streaks are mostly used to bludgeon the new 
staff, which I suppose it just how it's always going to be. In terms of 
measuring the quality of a football team, they are worthless, 
meaniningless. The only one I ever worry about is the sell-out streak, and 
that's not because it's a streak, but is representative of how well we are 
supporting the football team. I seriously doubt it's in jeopardy.
