We're not talking low compared to previous Husker teams; we're talking 
low compared to all Div-I teams.  Nebraska is now 107th in rushing!

I understand going to a passing game as the main way to move the ball 
down the field.  I wouldn't mind so few carries if the yards/carry were 
reasonable (when the Huskers primarily ran, passing yards were low, BUT 
yards/pass were often fairly good).  Nebraska is currently about 111th 
in yards/carry!
But the current Husker's running game would have to improve to be merely 
anemic.  I do not understand why this is the case, especially 
considering that most of the team (seniors, junior, and 3rd year 
sophomores) were recruited for a rushing offense. 
Until it is fixed, the Huskers won't return to 9+ win seasons much less 
MNC contenders.
