Much better?? They were only one touchdown better, and that was a gimmee.

The full stats file on the huskers.com site is apparently corrupted (hopefully
it'll be fixed by tomorrow), but based on stats elsewhere the only stat
that really stands out is the NINE sacks recorded by OU. (Is that some kind
of record for Nebraska?)

The low rushing yardage is somewhat noteworthy, but I suspect that's just
something the grind-it-out gang will have to get used to. The days of
500 yard rushing outputs are gone and may never return.

Let's also remember that Oklahoma isn't in the middle of redefining what
Sooner Football means.

I am not advocating any drastic changes this year (not even at DC), though
Callahan will probably join Houston Nutt and possibly Dave Wannstedt on
the media's 'bubble list'. However, as I've said before (and the pundits in
the media apparently don't understand this), all indications are that
Callahan still has the full support of the only person whose opinion
matters, and since dumping Callahan this quickly would in effect repudiate
the very reason he was hired, he's got 2-3 more years to get the Huskers
back up to 9+ win territory before the other powers that be start flexing
their muscles.
