That is exactly the point I made while the goalposts were coming down. Glad
to see the Huskers are still regarded as a team that deserves it.

Although I'm disappointed with the loss, I am glad there is a rivalry of
sorts between the two teams. Didn't feel as hostile as the one with
Colorado.

Couple of additional point about the Missouri fans.

1. They were very friendly before, during, and after the game. I heard one
Husker fan complaining that they were awful to him, but then he turned
around and started shouting at the Mizzou fans. Ergo, he probably deserved
whatever comments were made to him.

2. I loved watching the kids carry the goalposts to Harpos. What a great
tradition. I have heard the negative comments about this (e.g. kids will
get hurt, cost to the university, etc), but I still think it's great to see
the team spirit.

3. Finally, it looked like the Mizzou players were encouraging the students
to rush the field. At first, only a couple kids came out on the field (and
were subsequently arrested), but then the players ran over to the fans and
they rushed the field. Glad to see the enthusiasm still there for college
football.
