well, the Nunn fumble was the turn around for Mizzou, wasn't it? We had
the game somewhat in control until then.

Brad Smith eats our lunch and before anybody makes the statement that
Nebraska has always had problems with mobile quarterbacks, EVERYONE has
problems with mobile quarterbacks. In this case, it's pretty obvious that
we had bigger problems, i.e., our secondary's inability to cover receivers
makes it a feast or famine type defense. Today, Mizzou feasted.

If I don't have to listen to these guys or watch another Fox Sports
production of a Nebraska football game, that'll be fine. They were poor
with the distance and down markings, they failezed to recognize flags on
the field (or phantom flags) and I have to wonder sometimes if the guys
calling the game were really watching it. This is what happens when ESPN
owns the sports world. The rest of the announcers left over after ESPN
aren't just second-class, ESPN hires everyone at that level too.

I am glad that we're playing a lot of people. Murtha got to find out what
it was like to have his lunch eaten too. It's a learning experience, eh?

OU next. 24 hours to get over this one. <G>
