If Bapi doesn't see how the stat matters, it probably doesn't, but
my thinking on this was that the offense helps the defense most
by holding the ball a long time.  The less time the offense allows
for the opponents to have the ball, the easier it is for the defense.

a long drive that eats up lots of clock and keeps the defense on
