(quote) Considering that they came from behind to beat Iowa State by 10 today, in
Ames, in regulation, I would suggest it is definitely not safe to say that...(end quote)
I think people rely a bit too much on logic in cases like this- just because Baylor easily beat a team Nebraska barely beat does not mean Baylor has an advantage over the Huskers. There are simply too many variables involved to assume this based solely on common opponents.
(quote)I'm feeling better by the week about OU...(end quote)
I feel better about Nebraska's chances too, but I wouldn't underestimate the Sooners just yet- you can bet that Callahan & co. will not either.
(quote)CU dismantled A&M today, in case anybody missed it...(end quote)
Colorado looked impressive, but it also looks to me like A&M is nowhere near as good as people thought this season. I think the Big 12 south is suffering from a huge hangover after last year's success against the north!
And I also have to apologize for bashing Smith so quickly after the game today; I made the mistake of letting my emotions get the best of me (which can also be said for Smith in trying to run the pick back...) John Blake will have the kid playing well despite this goof. To the poster who noted the Huskers should've not have settled for the FG in the drive before the near pick, well they had WAY more control over falling down after an interception than they did scoring a touchdown against 11 other players. In other words, failing to score a TD there was not as damaging as fumbling that interception in my opinion.
