A loss at home to a team that likely won't win its half of the
conference? Wow, how far the Huskers have fallen.

At this point, CU looks better than NU and has two wins against
the Big 12 South.

Using comparative scores with ISU and NU playing its first game on
the road? Safe?

It was a great game. I can't imagine there have been three closer
games in a row in Husker history. However, I think a loss a home
to a team likely to be an also ran in the South is not a good loss
(although not unexpected and despite NU playing a very good game
for minutes 20-57). I think NU will have to get better to catch
CU this year. And, I think NU will have to play as well with fewer
errors to win on the road at Baylor.
