The only call I really question is why Green gave such
a big cushion on 4th and 2 at the end. You know they
are looking to get the first on a quick pass and you
have to get in their face and push them out of their
route. Other wise I thought it was a great game. I am
sure Blake and Cosgrove will take Smith aside and
assure him that its not the end of the world. I think
he saw open field and was caught up in the moment and
thought he could get some yards, not a td, and give NU
some room to work, even though they would only have
had to take a knee once or twice. Lets hope he learns
from this and continues to play great football like he
has all season.
