I feel better about Northwestern's 51-48 win over Wisconsin.  :-)

Most of the time I would agree with you that the first instinct is to
run with the ball.  I wonder if they're coached that way?

Players should also have enough game situation awareness to know that 
in THIS situation, just fall down or take a knee.  If the Huskers didn't 
know that before today, they sure know it now.  

Some lessons are more expensive than others, this was one of the more 
costly ones.

Unlike Scott, I think punishing the player by benching him is the 
worst thing the coaches could do.
