if you have played football and you intercept a pass what is your first 
thought. It is to run. 

I did play football, and I was taught that when you are 90 yards away from the end zone and you get a fumble recovery or a pick, you go down regardless, especially if 7 of the 11 players on the other team are way faster than you. Did Smith really think he was going to return the pick for a td? Sure, I probably overreacted saying he shouldn't play the rest of the year. There is just no excuse for trying to run that pick back, I don't care what anyone says. Now if the play occurs on the Tech 5 yard line, that' sone thing, but to pull that on your own 10 is simply dumb.
