[Husker] Texas Tech

I agree that I think TT is probably better, but, that belief is largely
because I'm still not sure just how good the Blackshirts are. It's been
a while since we could rely on defense as a big weapon. I know, people
are saying the offense finally clicked well against ISU, but, I need to
see them put some real points on the board to have that feeling.

Nebraska opened this week as a 3.5 point favorite versus Texas Tech
according to Vegas. I know these spreads are just set to even the
betting action, but I am very surprised the Huskers are considered the
favorite in this game, home field advantage or not. Perhaps the bookies
know more than we think- as we all know, the Huskers were a 3.5-4 point
favorite all week in the ISU game as well.

A win against Tech, and Nebraska will be the flavor of the week with
much of the media, and we will all be suddenly hearing about how the
team "is back", you can bet on it. In fact, if the Huskers can pull it
out this week, I'd bet they would be ranked in the top 20 at worst.

Looking at some of the teams below the Huskers in the polls, do a lot of
folks really think Nebraska is better right now than Colorado, Oklahoma,
Minnesota and A&M? Based on the games I have seen so far, I would say
no, but that is one of the reasons I never bet on football! Having the
gameplan package this year at my house has been great, and from what
I've seen of OU I wouldn't count the Sooners out just yet. I didn't get
a chance to see any of the A&M game versus Baylor, but I suspect Baylor
is better than people think.
