[Husker] Callahan play calling (red zone) (fwd)

Some friends and I were joking around yesterday and said that we should have kept Joe Dailey around. Taylor too run the WCO up to the redzone and then Dailey to run the power I, option game to the endzone. No passing by Joe just running.

No, it's an inherent limitation of the WCO. It works best when there are
30 or more yards to work with downfield, because it depends on finding
holes in the pass coverage. With the ball on the 10, there aren't as many
places for holes.

NFL and college teams that run the WCO successfully tend to have a great
field goal kicker, because they NEED to have one.

(I also think the WCO is why the hash marks in the NFL are closer together,
that's a case of the people who write the rulebook helping their teams.)
