With Iowa State (barely) out of the way, what are our lads' chances against Texas Tech? The Red Raiders defeated Kansas in Lubbock 30-17 - hardly the sort of offensive production one has come to expect from their offense against hardly great opposition. According to Tech's official web site, KU put considerable pressure on QB Cody Hodges, sacking him four times. He completed 34 of 52 passes for 333 yards. Note that Zac Taylor's stats were somewhat better than that. In its prior games, KU had given up a total of 33 points to three teams that (prior to Saturday, anyway) had won zero games. If KU was able to pressure the Tech QB, one would think the Huskers' defense could do even better. If - and, yes, it's a big if - NU's offense can continue the production we saw against ISU, the Huskers just might get to 5-0.
