When some Pederson supporters started unleashing all
sorts of rumors 2 years ago, I wondered the same
thing. Then I learned that the media also
investigated those same rumors, and never was able to
validate any of it.

In the end, I go back to Tom Osborne's quote:
"I've listened to everybody," Osborne said. "I've
heard all sides of the story. And I just don't see
anything that maybe we couldn't have sat down in one
room, maybe 45 minutes to an hour, hashed it out and
had it back on track."

I do think that there probably is a connection between
this incident and 2 years ago; both events happened on
the Saturday after Thanksgiving. It doesn't excuse
what happened one bit; it was a dangerous stupid thing
to do.
