Traffic is a potential issue; the North Freeway is
reduced to one lane due to construction, and 5 pm is
rush-hour downtown, and that backs up rather badly.
If that is backed up, try taking I-480 to either 20th
Street or 14th Street.
I would assume that Nebraska would be scheduled for
the later (7 pm) game, in which case traffic should be
much easier. I would allow about a half-hour to 45
minutes to get parked if you are trying to arrive
between 6 and 7 pm. If the weather is nice, you could
try to arrive earlier as Omaha's Old Market district
is 3 blocks south, and is an easy walk from the Qwest
Center. Between the Qwest Center and the Old Market
is the Leahy Mall, which has more Christmas Lights
than Kansas City's Plaza.
