The hotel manager called my room to make sure I was okay.  Turns
out, he went to OU and was pulling for the Huskers. He was very nice and
sent a complimentary glass of beer to my room with every Husker score.



I hope you stayed in afterward - that's a lot of beer!

Personally, I wasn't doing anything so productive as playing golf. "Knowing"
the Huskers had no chance, I made a haircut appointment. So there I was
sitting in a parking lot in the middle of Tucson listening - rather
incredulously - to a scratchy radio signal from Phoenix, waiting for my
appointment. I got home just as Beck went in for mop-up. Thank God - okay,
Comcast - for my DVR.
