The Huskers owned the edge in everything Friday. They showed that NU is
a class program, and exhibited tremendous pride and confidence in this
game. Held the ball for 17 minutes more than the Buffs, outgained them
by almost 300 yards. The offense and defense put in their most complete
games of the season. This shows that zero turnovers can make the
difference and 3rd down conversions are critical. Coach Callahan and
his staff did a beautiful job in preparations. As for the students
coming unglued there in the 4th quarter: If I were a CU alumni or
booster I'd be mortified. But this is what we've come to expect from
them over the years. They do not deserve a shot at Texas and I, for
one, will be cheering on the Cyclones this Saturday.

Individually, you can't say enough about the games from Cory Ross and
Zach Taylor.
This game gives us great momentum going into our Bowl, and provides a
great turning point for what will be an exciting 2006 season of Husker
football.

To finish at 8-4 would be an amazing achievement. Go Big Red!
