Dear Listers
Gosh, what memories... I remember back on those Thanksgiving days when
we
played the Sooners... We were sooo poor that we didn't have no radio but
if
we cut the neighbors a cord of firewood they would turn theirs up and we
could hear it over the sound of the snow and wind blowing in our old sod
lean two. Then we would all sit down to dinner and Dad would get out his
pocket knife and carve the corn flake. Does anyone remember who won that
game ... I think it was in 1971... our roof caved in from the snow and
we
didn't hear cuz we were all digging out Grandma. Gosh, those were the
days.
:)
Happy Thanksgiving to you all!!! and GO HUSKERS!
