[Husker] bowl game

The practices make the bowl game essential for
Nebraska.  I wonder how much better we might have been
this year if we had found a way to win one more game
last year...

Let's not go there.  A few breaks and bounces the
other way, and we would have been singing "I'll be
home for Christmas" in mid-October.

This is the #1 reason by far.  For a young team, this
is critical.  It's like a second spring practice.

Nope.  Unless we get a surprise invitation, the bowl
game will barely pay our expenses.  Many of these bowl
games pay less than $1 million, and Nebraska's
expenses for the 2002 Rose Bowl were over $1 million. 
(Band, players, administrators, etc.)  They'll
downsize this for a lower-tier bowl, but it will be
break-even.  And any money they do make will be split
12 ways.
