That would be incredibly stupid for a number of reasons.  First of all, 
the team loses out on an extra 3-4 weeks of practice that is desperately 
needed.  Secondly, it means future bowl selectors will look at NU with a 
cynical eye and wonder if they're wasting their time pursuing us .  
Thirdly, it's likely to attract even more controversy and dissent 
amongst fans, and NU has had plenty of that since Pederson came to town.
