I don't think it was a bad decision for BC to burn Taylor's red-shirt.  All 
we have heard for the last few years is how we are building a program back, 
it takes time, we need to be patient, etc...  We can't run a program with 
our main objective being to build for the future.  The object of football is 
not to see who can position themselves to be good 4 years down the road, the 
objective is to score more points than the other team.  BC put our second 
string qb, who he felt could give us the best chance to come away with a 
victory, and the gamble worked.  Though it was sloppy, we came away with the 
win.

As far as buring a red-shirt and hurting our future goes, I don't think this 
will play as big a role as what people speculate.  If we look back at some 
of our other players (ex. Scott Frost)  He did some pretty remarkable things 
at Nebraska with only 2 years.
